Start Manga Studio 2. Click on “Material Installation” (either before it loads or in program) 3. Select “Install from Folder” 4. Select the “Manga Studio EX 4.0 – Materials.rar” 5. Click OK 6. Wait and your done. Hope that makes life easier. Now to learn this program. Cheers an alternate tutorial on how to install materials is made by 381dray hey heres a suggestion, on how to install manga studio materials with out all the fuss. i was having problems after i bought it and i couldn’t figure out how to do it until i was messing around. 1. after i had installed manga studio, i burnt it to a disk for backup like manga suggest after buying 2. i open’d manga studio up. 3. i went to task bar above, i went to windows, then to materials, and clicked on it. 4.in the the small materials box on the far right top theres a button, i clicked that and at the botton it says.install materials.(click it) 5.then select the cd i made of manga studio, and hit okay …

I am having trouble installing the materials, I followed your steps up to 4. I can’t see “Manga Studio EX 4.0 – Materials.rar” there are only Folders in my browse folder, I can see the rar in the folder itself but when I use browse folder I cant find it can anyone help me?

@boypaslot @snjorRefur948 you need to run it in compatibility mode. This is easy to do right-click the exe then select properties then go to compatibility then click the box then go down to the drop-down menu then hit windows vista. Hope this helps.
1. find the path: ..MaterialSettings3D Data 93D Data CollectionVol1SchoolPrincipalufs Room and Meeting Rooms 2. change the word “Principalufs” to Ps (becomes Ps Room and Meeting Rooms) 3. install materials again by clicking “Install from folder”
the installation now no longer stucks on item 1001 (wether it installs everything correctly is however another matter that I was unable to determine).

@snjorRefur948 I ave the same prob, somehow they have an installation setup for vista but nothing for win 7, this is hopeless.
i tried to install it on windows 7 but when the notice box came up there was no Windows 7 or anything you know when you clicked install. why is that? please reply. :D
hi my computer is Windows7 and when i tried Installing Manga Studio, it pop up a Notice and “i”inside a blue circle and nothing else. and when i click “ok” it loads and nothing happens. help me
i try’d downloading the rar. folder but it wont let me download the hole thing it just stops at 1% then nothing happens! what do i do?
