hey i have the same case for mine
you are fucking awsesome
@elizabethsparks2002 does not work with 1.4.1. @saintdp yes you need an SD card to store third party apps
Thank you soooo much. this made my nook 10000000000 times better!
Will this work with the Updated 1.4.1? And I have read on several sites that doing this type of stuff make the N button not work. Does this happen often, and how do you fix it?
@Crisis1837
Same here!!! Brand new Nook Tablet (firmware version 1.4.0)
Does Nook download apps on SD Card ONLY!? …or can it download apps to the internal memory as well?
My brand new Nook Tablet does not download any app!!! It writes “download unsuccessful” for every download I tried to download: Amazon App Store, Go Launcher and TGPS Launcher… tried to download them from direct links and from my personal hotmail e-mail account… it DOES NOT download any app!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What to do!????????????
it seems that this way is causing the home “n” button on the nook to disable. Any way to prevent this?
i tried to download the launcher but it says i have to put in a credit card the apps wont download
when trying to download any of the files I get “download unsuccessful” Running Nook Tablet Firmware 1.4.0….any thoughts.
where are the written instruction for this?
@theebookreader How do I fix my N button!!??
i just installed the amazon store and my n button won’t work. I’m at the original home screen right now and I do not know how to get to the amazon store or anything.. Help???
@deralaand how do i get to manage applications?
ok on my nook how do i get to manage apps
@mandrewt224 if you need more detailed help. email me
@mandrewt224 you have to go in to ‘manage applications’ and uninstall each one.
@jtriniboy96 this functionality seems to get removed with the 1.41 version of Nook software. It is possible to work around this… but it is somewhat technical.
search ‘indirect’ over at XDA forums

@DCRNC
B&N just put out an update blocking the loophole. You can still access the apps, but cannot download any others.
