Pilot
It’s a unique pitch for a sitcom: After the death of Marcy Bradford, two of her former boyfriends take custody of her twelve-year-old daughter and raise the girl without a mother. This is the pilot. And proof that writers can make anything funny. @FranklyMisterShankly I’m sure more people smoke crack today then in the 80s.
was there an episode where nicole and her friend were trying to make their boobs bigger?
@islandsylph thats what dna test are for and i know there not gay
@HankIsAwsome No, they are NOT gay. They were former rivals of the late mother, and either one of them could be the father of the child. So..they become together under one roof to parent the child. Seriously…pay attention
so there gay?
stupid fag enabling 80′s
ya,to below,i think they did decide they didn;t want to know,i think it was towards the end. and remember all this csi stuff is really recent in dna testing-we didnt have it in 1994! we had a glove.
I loved this show when I was a kid! Oh, I miss the good innocent times! At least I can watch these vids and remember my childhood!
sub-text is so same-sex. family harmony? the rationale for them to raise a girl together is ridiculous.
ok people this show was NOT about two gay dads..although who cares it if would have been it was NOT. it was about two straight dads who didnt know who was the father of nicole and they were made to both take care of her until they learned who was the father.
@aquarius129 She got the results, but threw them away without reading them.
If this were done today “My Two Dads” would take on a WHOLE new meaning.
Side Note: Greg Evigan and those tight jeans gave my 12 year old mind the sickest thoghts.
I used to love this show. They had the coolest furniture. I put up with horrible years of step by step because of my attachment to this show… seems cheesy now.
And to the below… I thought they did have a paternity test episode and it didn’t pan out, or they didn’t wanna know.
Oh please….ot was a SHOW. Can you please leave “paternity tests” out of it?? See..this it’s whats wrong about society today.
This was a great series, man. See why back then was SO much better than today? Today they would be labeled as “gay”. Absolutely ridiculous. Take me back to the FABULOUS 1980′s.
PART 2
My two dad follows a very simple sitcom formula; CONFLICT. . . that is what makes a good sitcom; Will and Grace were so successful because it was written with the ultimate conflict- two characters that loved each other, but could never have a sexual relationship.
M2D’s was a great sitcom for it’s time; Wish I could have “Joey’s” hair. . .
If you want to see a REAL sitcom with gay charachters (sp?) youtube brothers ep 1
Enjoy. . . .
My Two Dads Gay? Of coarse they are. . .in TODAYS terms; back then ~ no; problem is we are watching a sitcom by TODAY”S standards after will and grace; and of coarse everything revolves around sex today- so there is an underlying gay theme in EVERYTHING through todays eyes.
I loved this show!
@jade
liono and he-man were gay? how come?
paul riser is a deuche
hahaha waht
paul riser christ
I watched this show when it came on. It was a good show.
Why are their so many comments about this show having an underlying gay theme?!
Watch ANY episode of this series (especially the first), they are not gay, they are incredibly straight! (hence all the pig-headed fights…)
It’s like saying Felix and Oscar of the Odd Couple were gay just because they were two men living together…
Besides, no one in the 80′s was that openly gay on TV… Thats why all cartoon characters were so… well… *cough cough* Liono, He-Man, all the smurfs!
LMAO! seriously!
