Man guys I sure hope there is jiujitsu in heaven. I would love to roll with Helio just once.
This is one of the most moving things I’ve ever seen. Seeing the familial bond being passed down, master to grandson. It’s beautiful. Absolutely stunning.
I hope Helio’s zombie rises up to armbar the idiot who added this “music” to the video. Would have rather heard the conversation between Grandfather and Grandson.

@pcjudosambo Carlos was taught traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu, but Helio modified the techniques because the Japanese moves were reliant on strength and speed and size. Helio adapted his own style that relied on leverage which allowed smaller weaker individuals the opportunity to beat larger opponents. They both are founders of GJJ, though Helio became the true technical leader as he was the one to adapt and find new techniques to add to the arsenal. His side of the Gracie family has added and

Whether you like the Gracie’s or hate them, you can’t deny that this is a beautiful moment. The passing of knowledge from grandfather to grandson, too bad Rockson passed away so early, who knows how much he would have accomplished. I hope to one day share a moment like this with my kids and grandchildren.
