Sopcast on PS3
Hi today i will show you how to stream sopcast from your PC to your ps3. Download this www.megaupload.com Sopcast Stream Tutorial 1.Download Files in link description once downloaded Extract all contents in rar file to place easy to remember preferbally desktop and install tversity, vlc and sopcast I installed the files before hand to make process faster. 2. Open TVersity, and click the plus sign in the upper right corner. Add “mms://127.0.0.1:1234 ” as a video url 3. Once installed, open sopcast and select a channel. Wait for it to finish buffering. 4. Run “Start VLC for PS3.bat” . It will simply open vlc and tell it to start streaming sopcast to your ps3 5. Go to your PS3 and make sure media server is enabled. Go to videos and select TVersity then internet, rss podcast or internet video then you should see the name off the file you named in tversity 6. You have succesfully streamed Sopcast to your PS3 If you have any problems contact me i will reply to you asap Also when changing channels in sopcast remember to restart sharing service in tversity so channel changes on ps3. You may need to change the drive letter in the bat if C is not the letter of your main drive

I do se the TVersity on my PS3 and I’m also able to find the mms.//localhost… But, all the files in that folder is named “Data is corrupted”. How do I avoid this, so it’s possible to stream some football-matches

got it fixed but how do u change channels on the ps3? ive changed the channel on sopcast on my pc but how do u make it go to the other channel on the ps3?

@mlemon88 Im guessing youre on a 64-bit system as I ran into the same problem. Simply edit the .bat file and add (x86) behind Program Files (with a space in between).
Cant get this to work followed everything correctly but the ‘ Start VLC for ps3 ‘ file doesnt work, it just flashes up and doesnt open vlc or anything.
Any advice?? Cheers.

@stuio74 because the download has sopcast and tversity and vlc installers and the bat file in one rar file so u dont have to look over the net for it
why is the bat file over 30mg?
Bat files should only be like 4kb

@liamc1997100 it should work if u followed all the steps u shud trp update the vlc media player and tversity and makue sure tversity is running by clciking setting then the restart sharing services then click start sharing
