Video Upload & Video Sharing Made Simple
Video Upload & Video Sharing Made Simple
Article by Maurice Snell
Take a look around the internet today and one thing you’ll see more of is videos. Sharing videos online has become more popular than almost any other activity on the web and you only have to look at YouTube to see how big a marketplace sharing video has become.
Nowadays, video has become the online communication tool of choice for companies and marketers as well as being hugely popular with the general internet audience at large.
When it come to internet marketing and advertising, product launches and lead capture pages are invariably using video to get their message across and, it would seem, people love video. Do you doubt me on that?
If so, think about the last big launch you saw.
Who was the marketer behind it and what did he or she say?
No, I don’t mean what did they write, I mean what did they ‘say’, because, invariably, every single launch that’s happened over the past few months not only had an element of video in its sales letter……in most cases, the video IS the sales letter. Yes, you may see a page with writing on it, but count the number of words.
Chances are, you could actually count the words in a matter of seconds. Before video, counting the words of a sales letter would be unthinkable and certainly,, if the product was a high ticket item, sales copy needed to be written by someone who knew what they were doing.
Video has enabled marketers and marketing departments to put together sales messages of any length that people will be prepared to sit and watch, especially if the delivery is entertaining. Now tell me, when was the last time you found a written sales letter entertaining?
Maybe sometimes they are but, for the most part, you can’t afford to use humour in the written sales letter.
Video opens up avenues which were never available before to any business, or, for that matter, any individual just wanting to get his or her diary online in video form. Sure, you could upload a video to YouTube or one of the multitudes of video sites, but not everyone wants to stick their videos on a public forum that size. There may be certain types of videos available only to your clients or your friends and family – would you want everyone to see them?
I know of one online business operator who uploads videos to YouTube which are only supposed to be for his paid members. You can’t get to them through his site, but all you have to do is go to YouTube and type in his name and there they are for anyone and everyone to view.
Now, if you’re one of those people who want to keep their videos on individual sites, what happens if you’re not well versed in technology? Well, if you’re anything like me, you’ll go through a whole load of trial and error. Sure, you’ll probably get the video onto your site, as I did, but it could take a whole day… maybe even longer.
The good news for budding video users is that there are now ways and means to upload and share your videos on the web in almost any way you choose. Whether you want to embed them on your websites or blogs, use them on individual lead capture pages, share them with a restricted audience, use them to invite people to events and so much more. At last a facility to put your videos only on your site and one that is so easy to use that it literally takes a few minutes to record, edit and upload your videos.
Well, that facility is available and if it had been around a few years ago even more people would probably have been recording, uploading and sharing their own videos a lot sooner.
The really good thing about it is that it’s available for nothing. Just like the big video sharing sites, membership of a site like this is free for everyone to use. For those looking for more than just a place to upload their videos, for those with no technical knowledge, and for those who want to easily create and share video but have no website of their own, there is now a great alternative video tool for literally everyone.
That has to be good news for millions of internet users who, until now have had no easy way to take advantage of the power and popularity of online video.
To find out more about video editing software that can be used by everyone take a look at the Easy Video Producer website for demonstrations and free video upload services.
